Generally in the early stage of kidney disease patients will appear proteinuria, our usual urine routine test results urine protein 2+, 3+, and 24 hours urine protein quantitative 1 grams or 2 grams, refers to the urine leakage protein.
Although proteinuria is a typical symptom of early nephropathy, the amount of leakage of urine protein itself does not represent the severity of nephropathy. In other words, the loss of protein, and the severity of the disease is not proportional. Such as minimal change nephritis and mild mesangial proliferative nephritis, kidney disease is mild, but the daily urine protein can reach several grams or even more than a dozen grams. Similarly, a large number of proteinuria can not explain the serious pathological damage of nephropathy. For example, some focal segmental sclerosing glomerulonephritis and crescentic glomerulonephritis are severely damaged by pathology, but only a few grams of urine protein per day.
The treatment of kidney disease does not depend on the amount of urine protein loss, but mainly depends on the pathological type of kidney, renal damage and the overall situation of renal function. In addition, we should also see whether patients with kidney disease cooperate with doctors, whether to pay attention to prevent recurrence of incentives, whether to adhere to the treatment, whether to avoid the use of renal toxicity drugs and other subjective factors.
How to control intractable edema
Control the intake of salt and water. Excessive intake of salt can make people feel thirsty, drink a lot of water will aggravate the edema, but also increase the burden on the kidney. Normal people can eat 5 - 6 grams of salt every day, kidney disease patients will be half a day after edema, the maximum intake of 3 grams of salt a day. Summer home should have cap, can measure, but kidney disease patients do not drink oh. The 3 grams also include salt in foods such as staple foods.
When there is edema and oliguria, drink less water. Kidney disease patients can record their daily urine volume, the whole day of water intake is: the previous day urine volume of +500ml water. Try to drink plenty of water during the day, reduce water at night, avoid aggravating the burden on the kidneys.
Low protein diet. Severe edema and hypoproteinemia patients, daily intake of protein per kilogram of body weight can be 1g, such as a 60kg, but a day intake of 60g protein; mild to moderate edema daily per kilogram of body weight 0.5 ~ O.6g protein to protein, but also pay attention to adequate intake of calories.
To prevent the loss of protein, edema, repair the damaged kidney is the most fundamental. The control of some food is of great help to the recovery of the disease.
