The diet of kidney disease should be controlled according to the different conditions:

1、Acute and chronic nephritis, kidney patients with edema and high blood pressure should offer no salt diet, when the edema was faded away and blood pressure was stable, could offer lower salt diet.

2、Nephrotic syndrome and other kidney disease have a lot of proteinuria PRO, should limit the intake of high quality of protein, such as milk、egg、lean、crucian、carp and so on. The adult should take about 100g protein. But don’t eat vegetable protein, with hypertension should limit the food with high cholesterol, like yolk.

3、Diabetic nephropathy, except for according to the requirement of diabetes, should not take animal fat, choose edible vegetable oil.

4、Uric acid nephropathy, should drink more water to maintain enough urine, should avoid eating lentil、spinach、tea、coffee、plucks and etc.

5、Renal insufficiency patients, besides the lower protein diet, should also eat more starchy food to ensure enough heat, confirm the intake of water and salt according to the condition of edema. Uremia with high creatinine should limit the food with high potassium.

6、Dialysis patients: having the particularity of some degrees should take foods under the guidance of doctor’s advice according to the detailed condition.
